We have a full fledged Department of Critical Care Medicine led by Dr Vinod B MBBS,DNB,IDCCM,IFCCM ; Dr Jaya Subba Reddy MBBS,MRCEM(UK),MEM-GWU(USA) and Dr Boban Varghese MBBS,MD,IDCCM.

This department specializes in management of :

  • ARDS - Invasive Mechanical Ventilation/Recruitment manoeuvres including Prone Ventilation
  • Respiratory failure of varied etiologies
  • Circulatory Shock of varied etiologies - Cardiogenic/Obstructive/Distributive/Hypovolumic/Septic
  • Severe Pancreatitis/Acute Liver failure
  • Severe GI bleed
  • Snake bites and all types of poisoning
  • Acute Stroke - Haemorrhagic/Thrombotic
  • Status Epilepticus
  • Traumatic brain injury

The team is skilled in :

  • Invasive mechanical ventilation
  • Central Line/Arterial Line/Dialysis catheter insertion
  • Intercostal Drainage Tube insertion
  • Temporary Pacemaker insertion
  • BCLS/ACLS
  • Percutaneous Tracheostomy
