Our Neurology Department is headed by Dr Sajan P M MBBS,MD,DNB,DM(Neurology). 

We have a well equipped Neuro Intensive Care Unit including stroke care unit.

We also have a neurophysiology lab conducting:

  • EEG
  • EMG
  • Evoked Potentials
  • VEP
  • BERA
  • Nerve Conduction Studies

Neurology OP runs everyday, catering to various disorders such as:

  • Stroke
  • Epilepsy
  • Movement disorders
  • Vertigo
  • Head ache
  • Backache
  • Peripheral neuropathy
  • Memory disorders
  • Various Neuro- muscular problems

  • The first 1.5 Tesla 16 Channel Silent MRI and 128 Slice CT in Palakkad district started functioning in Valluvanad Hospital.

  • Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery launched under the guidance of Dr Jyothish K, MDS & Dr Arun V, MDS

  • The Departments of Cardiology,Nephrology and Oncology have been empaneled under the Medical Reimbursement Scheme for Government Employees.
