Pediatric Intensive Care

This department is led by Dr Anand M MBBS,DNB,FPIC. We have a dedicated Pediatric Intensive Care Unit to treat infants, children and adolescents who are critically injured or ill.

We are equipped with:

  • Advanced Invasive ventilation
  • Noninvasive ventilation facilities including High Flow Nasal Canula ,bilevel ventilation
  • Multi-Channel Monitors, Invasive Haemodynamic Monitoring Systems(intraarterial blood pressure monitoring), End tidal CO2 monitoring,Arterial blood gas
  • Renal replacement therapies (eg Pediatric hemodialysis )as per patient needs
  • Point-of-care ultrasonography in pediatric intensive care unit
  • Neurological critical care for cases like status epileptics, CNS infections, traumatic brain injury
  • Insulin pump therapy for pediatric diabetes mellitus and DKA
  • Acute care for dyslectrolytemias and other metabolic abnormalities
  • Short term & Long term parentral nutrition
  • Care for snake bite & other toxin ingestions
  • Advanced pediatric Postoperative care
