Kindle the light of kindness. Sickness is, the worst all sorrows . It assails the mind with anxiety and desperation, adding fuel to the fire of the symptoms of fatigue and pain of diseases . It goes without saying that soothing words and nursing hands can bring down the worries of the sick to a great extent. Opportunity to serve the needy makes the nursing profession a noble one.
Serving the sick and weak needs rigorous training in addition to an earnest desire to serve the humanity. So we thought of starting a Nursing school to impart necessary training with the ultimate aim of inculcating human values .Students are interviewed for admission with this noble goal in mind . Only those who have kindness in their hearts can become good nurses. With the rigorous practical and theoretical training we mould the students into Good Nurses with kind heart and willingness to work hard. Our Students ,we are sure , are capable of serving selflessly with a smile.
Practical and theoretical training are thorough and advanced and it is designed to make the students proficient in Nursing. Our Nursing School produces good results in the Nursing examinations . We have highly qualified faculty and advanced learning facilities. The practical training imparted to the students in the hospital is intended to instill confidence to manage all crises and challenges likely to crop up in their Nursing Service. Our training programme is intended to build social commitment the students.
During the initial years the number of seats available was 20. In 2007 the number of seats is increased to 25. The Nursing School is recognized by KNC and INC.
Admission Procedure
a) Academic Qualification.
A pass in Plus Two with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects with a separate minimum of 40% in each subject. For SC/ST candidates, only a pass in Plus Two with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects is required. In the absence of sufficient candidates with PCB, candidates with other optional subjects are also considered.
b) Age.
The age as given in the SSLC book should not be less than 17years or exceed 27years as on 1st October. Upper age limit will be relaxed up to 3years for the applicants belonging to Backward/Minority Communities and 5years for SC/ST candidates.
c) Nationality.
The candidates should be residents of India.
d) Method of Selection
Candidates should submit applications in prescribed forms duly filled and supported by relevant documents to prove educational qualification, age ,nationality ,country of residence and community. Before selection the candidates will be called for an interview /oral test with the School authorities .The maximum marks of the Interview / Oral test is 100.The Interview is intended to assess the attitude and aptitude,earnestness and service mindedness of the students. The selected candidates will be informed by post and they are required to report to the Principal/Head of the school on the specified date itself Contact address of the nursing School
